Swimming pool heating options

So you want to enjoy your swimming pool but as you get in you discover that the water is to cold for you to swim! now you know that there are options to heat a pool but what sort of temperatures can you really get out of a heat pump, solar panels or solar blanket?

Heat pump – This will increase the water temperature anything from 15 degrees up to 28 degrees celsius without a cover and 15 to 32 degrees celsius with a cover. It is a really good option and does not cost much to run it especially with the new inverter technology. The price is also quite affordable depending on the size of your swimming pool, prices start at anything  from 13k up to 72k

Solar panels – Another great option which will save you quite a bit of money as it relies only on the heat of the sun. This will increase your water temerature anything from 6 to 12 degrees celsius and each panel can holds its heat for 24 hour periods. The only downfall is if there is no sun, well you aint going to get any heat.

Solar blanket – will increase your water temperature anything from 5 to 8 degrees celsius. It is highly recommended that you always use these even when running solar panels or heat pump as it retains heat and heats the pools alot quicker then without it.
