There as many brands on the market and to be honest I have not even touched or sold any solar pumps as the prices are still quite high.

What I can say is been in this industry for over 10 years the best pumps to me which are low maintenance and very seldom give issues are as follows:

• Speck porpoise Pumps - 3 year warranty and comes from America. They are quite and do the job well
• Speck Badu Pumps - 3 year warranty, from America, Parts readily available
• Speck variable speed pumps - Not sure on the warranty, engineered in Germany, 3 variable speeds, quite operation, parts available from Speck Johannesburg.
• Quality Pumps - 2 year warranty, parts readily available and value for money
