What side must a solar blanket face

As ridiculous as it sounds many clients ask us what side must a solar blanket face?

The answer is with the bubbles facing towards to the water and the flat side up. This allows the suns uv-rays to penetrate through the flat side and cause a reflection on the water which is caught by the bubble side to retain heat.
