In my personal opinion here, having a salt chlorinator is nice if you really concerned about hygiene and not having to put chlorine in your swimming pool may seem like an added bonus for you. However salt chlorinators are not always reliable and almost always break. They are extremely expensive and given the amount of issues they give, I do not think its worth the spend.
